Meet the Team
Melissa is our financial coordinator and human resources manager. She has been with Dr. Stevens since August of 2007. She graduated from FSU in 2003 with a degree in Risk Management/Insurance and a degree in Finance. Melissa enjoys baking, cross-stitching and spending time with her fiance, Jeff, and her Shih Tzu, Tyson. She is a proud aunt of five, one niece and four nephews, including the most recent addition of identical twins.
Cindy is one of our certified orthodontic assistants, as well as our lab technician. She has enjoyed working with Dr. Stevens since December of 1991. In her spare time, Cindy enjoys fishing and diving as well as most water sports. She also cares for her father’s farm, where she started raising beef cattle and growing hay.
Kimberly is the latest addition to Dr. Stevens’ practice, joining our team in June of 2008. She loves being a certified orthodontic assistant and could not imagine working in any other field. She has been married to Jayson since April of 2007 and they plan to start a family soon. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the beach, shopping and spending time with friends and family. She also likes to relax at home with her Shih Tzu, Gizmo.
Pepper is one of our orthodontic assistants. She joined Dr. Stevens' team in April 2002 and is certified in orthodontic assisting and dental radiology. Pepper graduated from Flagler College in May 2006 with a business degree. She and her husband, Kenner, married in 2007 and have a son named Justin and a new baby boy, Chase. They enjoy spending time with their families here in Tallahassee and spoiling their dog, Sierra.
Jane is our scheduling coordinator and has been with Dr. Stevens since August of 1985 when he first opened his practice. You are sure to be greeted by her smiling, friendly face whenever you come into our office. Jane enjoys spending time with her significant other, Robert, and their two labs, Blondie and Herb. She also enjoys gardening and fishing in her spare time.
Kitty has been an orthodontic assistant with Dr. Stevens since May of 1989. She has her certification in both orthodontic assisting and dental radiology. Kitty married John in April 2006 and has two stepdaughters, Emily and Elise. In her spare time she enjoys playing with her boxer, Bella, designing jewelry, painting, cooking and reading.
Sheila is our growth and development coordinator and marketing director. She has been with Dr. Stevens since August of 1992. Sheila and Robert have been happily married since August of 1971. “Yaya” and “Buddy” are proud grandparents and enjoy spending time with their son, Chad, daughter-in-law, Amanda, grandson, Brodie, and granddaughter Bryce. Sheila also enjoys going to the beach and shopping for her grandchildren.
Lori is our diagnostic records technician. She has been with Dr. Stevens since October 1997. Lori has her certification in both orthodontic assisting and dental radiology. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Lee, and daughter, Rachel. Lori likes music, traveling and the outdoors.
